The family Bible of his son Howell Reeves gives the following information concerning Elias's lineage:

• Stephen Reeves father of Elias — died Apr 13 1820 aged 86 yrs & 2 days
• Elias Reeves father of Howell Reeves born Nov. 8, 1762 Died 1843

It also mentions his wife:

• Eunice R. wife of Elias died Feb. 21, 1832 - aged 65 yr 6 mo

There is another Bible which belonged to Elias and seems to have passed to his son Austin which records Elias's children.

Elias does not appear to have had a headstone, but his wife Eunice is buried in the East Palmyra Cemetery. It states: "Eunice/Wife of Elias/Reeves/Died Feb 21 1832/AE 65 ys."

This may be Elias Reeves living in Smith, Suffold County, New York in 1810.
