An 1829 deed from Elias Reeves of Lansing, his wife Mabel and Mehitable Reeves identifies Elias as a son of Moses. It states the land was "allotted to the said Elias as his share of his father Moses Reeves estate by Jonah Moore William Hunter and Jehiel Ludlow commissioners."

The second marriage record for Munson T. Reeves to Malinda DeWitt from 1915 states his parents were Elias Reeves and Mabel McIntyre.
