Research Notes

According to descendant Beth Collins:
John Fry was also a Baptist minister who moved from Oglethorpe County to Jasper County, where he was an 1812 soldier. He eventually moved to Henry County (where he founded Shanon Baptist Church), Alabama, and Carroll County where he and James Reeves were among the founders of the Tallapoosa Primitive Baptist Church. He moved then to Coweta County where he was a minister at Ebenezer Baptist and a founder of Bethlehem Baptist. In 1834, he went to Troup County to conduct a marriage. He died in Coweta County.

The possible connection to James Reeves could mean Elizabeth was a sister to James and daughter of Jeremiah Reeves and Jane Brazile. This needs further research.
