A Power of Attorney from Elizabeth and her husband Waitman to Absalom Reeves which was recorded in Bedford County deeds books states that some land "belonging to the heirs and Legatees of the said William Reeves decd. there being seven in number and whereas Waitman Gullett of the County of Pope, and State of Illinois one of the said Legatees hath an Undivided moiety of said land do hereby constitute and appoint authorize and empower Absalom Reeves of the County of Bedford and State of Tennessee his executor or Administrator my true and lawfull Attorney." This indicates that Elizabeth was a daughter of William Reeves, one of the seven legatees. It appears Absalom then sold the land in 1836 to Dudley Crutchfield along with his seventh and another seventh apparently belonging to Rebecca.
Several children have headstones listing birth dates.
