Based on the name similarity, this Ewel is surely connected to the elder Ewel Reeves from Greenville County. Perhaps he is a son of Ewel's brother John Reeves.Son William may be William H. Reeves who lived in Spartanburg County.
Son "U. L."'s death certificate gives the maiden name Hindman for Jane.
