Frederick Reeves married Caroline COOPER on 17 September 1849 at the Parish Church of St Thomas, Portsmouth, Hampshire.

The known children of Frederick Reeves and Caroline (nee Cooper) are

1. Sarah Ann Reeves, bapt April 1850
2. Lucy Reeve (sic), bapt September 1851

Both baptisms took place at the Parish Church of St Mary, Alverstoke, Hampshire. Whilst FamilySearch has Lucy's surname recorded as Reeve (sic), FreeBMD records the birth registration in 1q 1851 as Lucy REEVES.

Frederick has not been identified on the 1851 census, but his wife Caroline and two daughters Sarah and Lucy are living in Alverstoke
Frederick's wife Caroline has not been identified on the 1861 of 1871 census.

On the 1861 census Frederick appears with his wife Mary Ann Reeves, sharing a house with his brother Joseph Reeves on Queen's Road, Alverstoke. A marriage registration for Frederick and Mary Ann has yet to be identified.

The known children of Frederick Reeves and Mary Ann (probably nee Blackman) are

1. Frederick Reeves, b.reg. 3q 1861
2. Mary Jane Reeves, b.reg. 1q 1863 - d.reg. 2q 1867
3. George Edward Reeves, b.reg. 2q 1867

All the above events were registered in the Alverstoke Registration District and the three births cite mother's maiden name as Blackman.
