In 1851, Gabriel, age 61, born in Tyward, Hampshire, was a labourer living in Chew Magna, Somerset with wife Sarah (60) and son Charles (23).

Research Notes

Although the 1851 census states that he was born in "Tyward" in Hampshire, there doesn't appear to be an actual location by that name and must be a reference to "Twyford." This fits well with Gabriel baptized at Twyford on 30 Aug 1789.
