The parish register states he was a son of George Toller and Margaret Reeves. He is mentioned in the will of George Reeves of East Wickham dated 31 Jan 1782. This George refers to "my daughter Margaret Depper widow of Thomas Depper" and then later mentions "my Grandson George Toler Reeves natural son of my said Daughter Margaret Depper." Margaret was married to Thomas Duppa in 1773 which indicates strongly that this is the son of George Toller and Margaret Reeves baptized in 1768.

George Toler Reeves is listed as an Ag Labourer in East Wickham, Kent in 1841. In the household are Jas. Akhurst (35), Lydia Akhurst (25), and William Akhurst (9). In his will, he mentions that Mrs. Akhurst, the wife of James Akhurst, was his housekeeper.

He wrote his will on 26 Oct 1845 and it was probated in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on 28 Feb 1846. In addition to his housekeeper Mrs. Akhurst, he mentions:
  • my son William Reeves of the parish of Bexley in the County of Kent
  • Mary Ann Exall my Granddaughter
  • my son Joseph Reeves of East Wickham (executor)
  • Mr Henry Mason of the parish of Plumstead in the County of Kent (executor)
