Little is known of James Reeves, the son of John. He was present at the estate sale of John Reeves on 14 Dec 1825 and is named in both the guardian records of John Reeves' minor children and the deed to his heirs. There are no other verifiable records of James Reeves at this time.

Research Notes

James date of birth is far more likely circa 1804 than previously listed 1812. He was listed as a "minor" in the guardian records of John Reeves' estate, but that was probably due to the fact that he was not yet 21 years of age.
