Lucinda was living with a Smith family in 1850 in Ledyard, New York. In 1860, she was with her brother Ezra in Owego, New York. In 1870 and 1880, she was with her brother Tapping in Big River and Ukiah, California, respectively. In 1900, she was with the Carothers, apparently the family of a deceased brother as she was named as sister-in-law to the Head of Household Thomas.Ukiah Republican Press, 1 Mar 1912
MISS REEVES SERIOUSLY ILL
Miss Lucinda Reeves, formerly of this city and sister of the late Tapping Reeves, is lying dangerously ill at Oakland, having been stricken with appoplexy a week ago. Mrs. T. L. Carothers, having been telephoned for last Friday, is at the bedside of Miss Reeves. The latter is aged 84 years and it is not expected that she will recover.

Miss Lucinda Reeves Passes Away.
Miss Lucinda Reeves, aged 84 years, died in Oakland Tuesday. Miss Reeves was well known in the coast section, being a former resident of Little River. Interment took place in Oakland.
