Child of Jasper Reeves and Amanda Montgomery:

1. George Washington Reeves, b. 22 Mar 1870, d. 13 Jun 1888 in Mendocino County, California

Jasper Reeves was named as an heir in the probate records of the estates of his father Terrell Reeves and brother Gaston. At the time of the final settlement of their estates, Case #305 and #398, his brother Enoch who was the administrator of both estates indicated that his whereabouts was unknown.

According to the record of his widow's civil war pension, Jasper Reeves served in the 1st Arkansas Cavalry of the U. S. Army. The pension shows that it was filed on 10 May 1871 so he died between the 10th of August 1870 when the census was taken and that date.
