Jesse Alexander Reeves was commissioned an officer in Company A, North Carolina 26th Infantry Regiment on 17 May 1861. He mustered out on 21 Apr 1862.

Research Notes

On the 28th of February 1839 Jesse Reeves executed a Power of Attorney giving his brother George W. Reeves authority to transact business pertaining to the sale of property owned by him in Georgia. (Ashe NC DB M:p551)
