Research Note

In Mary A. Reeves' Pension File #11174, she states that her father's name was Davidson Green; however, the death record of her daughter Lovie Reeves Aldridge gives her mother's name as Mary Ann Waldrop. According to descendants she was the daughter of Davidson Green Waldrop. Davidson G. Waldrop is listed in the 1860 census in Randolph County, Alabama.
∗Marriage Records of Lamar County, Alabama indicate that Jesse C. Reeves, Jr. was married to Allie W. Harrison, not Mary Ann Green.
