Note: Tuesday was the 5th of July.

Anna Mariah was christened on 11 Mar 1805, recorded in the parish records of St. Paul Protestant Episcopal Church, Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland.

This appears to be the John Reeves who provided security for Elizabeth Reeves, widow of Anthony Reeves, as guardian for their children. John was very likely a brother to Anthony.

His future wife, Abiel Allen, was also a witness to the 1802 will of Anthony Reeves.

This would appear to be the older of the two John Reeves households listed in Baltimore County in 1820.

In 1830, some land was deeded to Joseph F. Reeves "In trust & for the sole use and benefit of Abial Reeves wife of John Reeves and mother of the above named Joseph F. Reeves for and during her natural life" and if she should die the land would continue to be held "in trust for the use and benefit of the children of the said Abial Reeves share and share alike."
