John Reeves is the second known child of Edward REEVES and his wife Elizabeth (nee DOWN). He was baptised in June 1777 at the Parish Church of St Mary The Virgin in Gillingham, Dorset.

The marriage of John REEVES and Phoebe LUSH took place in January 1803 and is recorded in the marriage register of the Parish Church of St Mary The Virgin, Gillingham.

John has not been identified on the 1861 census and it is likely his is the death recorded in the GRO Index during the third quarter of 1859, in the Shaftesbury Registration District, age 83.
