Narrative

Children of John Reeves and Eleanor Frazier:
  1. William Reeves

The will of Cicelah Frazier of Caroline County, Maryland, dated 22 Dec 1774 and proved 10 Aug 1776, mentions "my Daughter Eleanor Reeves," "my son in law John Reeves," and "my Grandson William Reeves." It also refers to William's "grandfather Benoni Frazier." The will of Benoni Frazier, dated 16 Jan 1767 and proved 11 Aug 1773 mentions "my daughter Eleanor Reeves."

This is presumably the John Reeves listed in the 1790 census in Caroline County, although the image appears to be unavailable.

In 1800 there appears to only be him and his wife in the household.

The inventory of John Reeves is dated 20 Feb 1801.

There was a final account for a William Reeves of Caroline County deceased recorded in 1803 who was probably his son.

Eleanor/Ellenor Reeves wrote her will 13 Nov 1806 and it was proved 27 Dec 1806. She mentions only a niece Mary Orem? and Samuel Emmerson whom she appointed as sole executor. Given that she doesn't mention her son William, it would appear he is the who one died around 1803.
