Joseph Reeves had an addendum to the deed in which his brother Israel sold their mother's estate land in which he approved the deed. It stated he was of Philadelphia.
He is mentioned as Joseph W. Reeves in numerous Quaker Meeting Records from Philadelphia. There is a marriage intention between Joseph W. Reeves and Ann M. Thomas dated 19 Sep 1833. It notes that both of Joseph's parents were deceased.
