At a monthly meeting of Women's Friends held at Woodbury on 9 Jul 1811, it was reported that Clement Reeves requested a certificate of recommendation for himself and his family to the Philadelphia Monthly Meeting. It states they had six minor children: Lousia, Susan, Israel, Mary, Joseph, and Ann. This is recorded under the Wilmington Monthly Meeting, Women's Minutes.

Clement was living in Philadelphia in 1819 when he wrote his will but it was probated the same year in Gloucester County.

Clement's family were Quakers. The monthly meeting records for Philadelphia show that Clement Reeves, his wife Sarah and minor children Louisa M., Susan, Israel, Mary, Joseph, Ann and Sarah B. Reeves were received from Woodbury, New Jersey on 27 Jun 1816. The Philadelphia Meeting list of members show that Sarah and the rest of the family removed to Haddonfield 25 Oct 1821. This is presumably Haddonfield in Salem County, New Jersey.

Clement and his widow Sarah are buried in the Biddle Reeves Cemetery. She was born 20 Jan 1776 and died 24 Apr 1824.

There is a record in the Orphans Court minutes in which James W. Reeves and Ann Reeves minor children of Clement Reeves of 14 years and upwards request that Charles Whitall be their guardian. This is a bit odd as James is not mentioned in Clement's will.
