Biddle's will names his wife Ann, and children Clement, Thomas, Josiah, Biddle, Joseph, Desire, Sarah, Elizabeth, Mary Groft, and Ann Moffit.

Since Biddle was made guardian of his son Josiah in 1761, a couple years after his marriage to Ann, it appears likely Josiah was a son by the previous marriage. A note in Publications of the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania Vol. 7 states that the marriage record of Biddle and Elizabeth was in the unindexed files of the Secretary of State of New Jersey at Trenton. Other online indexes state her married name as Alberson.

In a deed from 1781, his wife is called Nancy repeatedly, but signed her mark under the name Ann. It may be that her full name was Nancy Ann.

He is buried in the Biddle Reeves Graveyard, Deptford, Gloucester County, New Jersey, but there are no dates on his headstone.
