Lucy was born about 1808, and married Philip Miller in 1837, in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Details of her death are not currently known, but she died some time after the birth of her son James Albert, in 1852, almost certainly at or near her home in Waverley, Nova Scotia. Lucy and Philip had eight children:
