with his mother, Cornelia Reeves his father having died in 1863 in the Civil War. James M. (Buddy) Reeves is just shown as Buddy Reeves in the 1860

Research Notes
Hiram C. Owens was married to Permelia Reeves on June 30, 1865 in Cobb County, Georgia. Permelia Reeves is shown in 1870 census with a William R. Reeves b. 1843, a Nancy E. "N.E." Reeves and Lucinda Reeves in the 1860 census of Lickskillet of Cherokee County, Georgia. It could be that the William Reeves b. 1856 is one and the same person as the William R. Reeves born in 1843. And that the Luanda Reeves b. c1858 is the same person of the Lucinda Reeves b c1858. It could be that after the death of the husband of Cornelia Reeves (Malakia), that Permelia had physical custody of the minor children.Nancy E. Reeves married Marion Sanford Pannell. The fate of William (R?) Reeves, James M. (Buddy) Reeves and Lucinda (Luanda) Reeves is a mystery as they never appear in any other census nor any other known place to this researcher.
