The bond and petition for Sarah's guardianship is dated 29 Aug 1796. It states she was the daughter of Abraham Reeves late of Cape May County, New Jersey. Abraham Bennet may be appointed Guardian.

The petition was witnessed by a Margaret Reeves.

Research Notes

There are two marriages for an Abraham Reeves of Cape May County in New Jersey marriage records. One to Margaret Burch in 1769 and the other to Ruth Crowell in 1775. It may be that Sarah is the daughter of Abraham and Margaret. The Ruth of the second marriage may be the Ruth Rieves who died around 1794.
