Narrative

Stephen is named in a partition deed from 1826 as having 1/10th of a piece of property. Although the predecessor is not named, several of the heirs are known to be children of Moses Reeves which implies Stephen is as well.

An 1826 deed from Stephen to William K. Reeves indicates he was living in Salt Creek, Muskingum County, Ohio.

His grave registration card for Ohio soldiers indicates he served in the War of 1812, was born 28 Oct 1780, and died 13 Feb 1879. He was buried in the Crumbaker Cemetery.

Stephen probably had a number of daughters based on the census.
