Research Notes

There are currently no other known records for the family of Stephen Reeves. His surname is listed incorrectly as Rives in the 1850 census but all other members of this extended family's names are recorded as Reeves in subsequent census.

The use of the given names Stephen and Daniel appears to suggest that they may have been members of the Reeves' family of Revolutionary War soldier Daniel Reeves. The families of several of Daniel Reeves' sons have never been identified and thoroughly researched.
