Above children are those still living at home and listed in the 1850 census with the exception of Rachel, Elizabeth and John. John was married and living in the next residence in that census. There were also two apparent grandchildren Ann Jones, born 1843, and Sarah Jones, born 1845, living in Thomas Reeves' household. These were undoubtedly the children of Rachel Reeves and Abram Jones who had married in 1842 and appear to have been deceased by 1850. Elizabeth Reeves who married widower William E. Jones in 1850 is likely the other daughter listed in Thomas Reeves' household in the 1830 census of Fleming County. Rachel, Elizabeth and John match the age and sexes of the oldest children in that census.

Thomas, Sarah and their daughter Huldah all died in August of 1855 of cholera in what appears to have been an epidemic in Fleming County. Thomas' son-in-law William E. Jones and four of his children also died of cholera at the same time. (See copy of death record attached.) Thomas and Sarah are buried in the Wooley Cemetery, Wallingford, Fleming County, Kentucky (FindaGrave photo).
