Children of Thomas Reeves and Isabella M. McPhail:

1. Abbie Thomas Reeves, b. 22 May 1855, m. Charles C. Jessup

In an 1848 Deed, his brother Joseph sold his share of his father's land to Thomas. It stated that their mother was formerly Mary Gill, and after Joseph's decease had married John B. Jessup. Thomas was of Upper Penns Neck in Salem County and Joseph was of Greenwich in Gloucester.

The deed describes him as "M. D." He is listed in 1850 in the household of Elizabeth Smith as Physician in Upper Penn's Neck in Salem County.

According to church records of Trinity Episcopal Church in Woolwich, New Jersey, the funeral of Thomas Reeves, M. D., age 34, was held 9 Jan 1857.

Thomas was given a Bible by his pastor after saving his life in 1856.
