The marriage certificate for Timothy Reeves to "Marilla" Woody Moody was issued 29 April 1812 in Davidson County, Tennessee. The "M" on the marriage entry looks like a "W." The War of 1812 Pension Application clarifies that her name was Avarilla V. Moody.

In 1850 and 1860, we find him in Benton County, Tennessee.

• Reeves, Timothy, of Humphreys County, gets 130 acres from John Davis of Davidson County, land on Trace Creek, mentions northwest corner of tract granted by Tennessee to Jesse Williams and south with Josiah Horton's east boundary line; mentions Benjamin Mitchell's southwest corner; made 23 Jan 1817, registered 26 Jan 1819 P 206-207

• Reeves, Timothy, of Humphreys, gets 140 acres of Trace Creek, from George Reeves of Hickman County; part of it was Josiah Horton's entry, which he got as heir of William White on 7 May 1813; mentions line between George Reeves and James Reeves and John Davis's southeast corner; witnesses Jordan Reeves, Drury Reeves and William Reeves; made 22 June 1818, registered 2 July 1819. P 249

• Mitchell, Isaac, gets 12 3/4 acres from Timothy Reeves, made 10 Jan. 1820, registered 7 nov 1820; land on south side of Trace Creek and adjoins 40 acres whereon Isaac Mitchell now lives; witnesses, Henry Stevens, Joshua Nelson. P 406

Avarilla Reeves testified of Timothy's service in the War of 1812 for a pension. According to the record, they were married 7 May 1812 in Davidson County, Tennessee. Her maiden name was Avarilla V Moody. He was entered the war and was honorably discharged at "Mussle Shouls," Tennessee. Timothy died on or about the 8th April 1869, in Benton County, Tennessee. Another statement gives the date as 8 Mar 1869.
