- Reeves, Timothy, of Humphreys, gets 140 acres of Trace Creek, from George Reeves of Hickman County; part of it was Josiah Horton's entry, which he got as heir of William White on 7 May 1813; mentions line between George Reeves and James Reeves and John Davis's southeast corner; witnesses Jordan Reeves, Drury Reeves and William Reeves; made 22 June 1818, registered 2 July 1819. Avarilla Reeves testified of Timothy's service in the War of 1812 for a pension. According to the record, they were married 7 May 1812 in Davidson County, Tennessee. Her maiden name was Avarilla V Moody. He was entered the war and was honorably discharged at "Mussle Shouls," Tennessee. Timothy died on or about the 8th April 1869, in Benton County, Tennessee. Another statement gives the date as 8 Mar 1869.
