Vashti names a number of nieces and nephews in her will. In that context she also mentions "my Aunt Mary Carr," "my uncle Isaiah Reeves Decd," "my uncle Eli Reeves Deceased," and "my uncle Abraham Reeves Deceased." She mentions a sister Jemima Bullock, wife of Samuel Bullock. She also made "my Aunt Ann Reeves executrix" of her will. She was living with Ann in 1850. This indicates Vashti was a granddaughter of Henry Reeves. Since Isaiah, Eli, and Abraham were her uncles, this seems to leave Joel as the only candidate for her father since Henry, David, and Zachariah are too young to be Vashti's father. However, Joel married Hannah Gaskill in 1795 and Quaker records include what appears to be a complete list of their children. So for now, Vashti's exact relationship to this family remails a mystery.

Quaker burial records show she died 24 Jan 1852 and was buried at Mt. Holly, New Jersey. The Sarepta Reeves Family Bible shows she died on the 23rd.
