There is a Civil War service record for a Warren D. Reeves from South Carolina. His wife Angelina Reeves presented testimony in Lumpkin County, Georgia in 1862 with the following facts:

• He was a private in Co. A in Orr's SC Rifles Reg.
• He entered service at Pickens District, South Carolina on/about 20 Jul 1861
• He was killed in battle near Richmond, Virginia on/about 9 Jun 1862
