West Reeves received a plat for 100 acres in Craven Co., SC, on 13 December 1771. The document mentions Lynches Creek, Fork Creek and Patrick Cain. On 2 April 1773, he received a land grant for 100 acres in Craven County. The last known appearance to him dates from 11 August 1773, when he he received a memorial for 100 acres on Lynches Creek in Craven County.

Research Notes

West Reeves has not been identified, but several other Reeves men received land in the Lynches Creek and Fork Creek area of old Craven and later Chesterfield Counties, South Carolina: Joseph Reeves, William Reeves, Reuben Reeves, and John Reeves.
