In 1842, Sheriff B. Johnson seized some of the lands of Zechariah Reeves by a writ of fieri facias from the Court of Common Pleas and sold it to Dr. Edward M. Bobo. The deed describes it as one hundred acres " being his interest in his Father John Reeves Deceased."
