Children of Richard Reve:Richard Reve of Hatfield Peverel, Essex wrote his will on 25 Jul 1625 and it was probated 23 Sep 1625. In it, he mentions:

Richard appears in a court record from Hatfield Peverel:
- Taken before Francis Hrvye, esquire, of Richard Reve [of Hatfield Peverel] and Edward Flud of White Notley, husbandman, for Matthew Weebe of Hatfield Peverel, poulterer, to appear, who was presented as above. Subscribed, against Matthew Webbe respited until Thomas Myldmay, knight, 'be made prevye'. (Sessions Rolls 26 March 1594)
- The presentment of Richard Reve and John Francis. First we presnt Matthew Weebe, poulterer, for buying, killing and selling of fowls this time of Lent without licence. And for our butchers, poulterers, victuallers and all other inhabitants we find no default. By me Edward Floud. (Sessions Rolls 1594)
- Indictment of Walter Willmott and Richard Reeve constables of Hatfield Peveral, by virtue of an order from John Sames a Justice of the Peace there arrested Henry Medcalfe of the same butcher for suspicion of felony, but after 6 house he escaped.
