Henry Rives was named in the Camden District SC 1783 will of his father, William Rives, Sr.He was recorded in the 1790 Census of Richland County, South Carolina as head of a household that included in addition to himself, one male minor child and 3 females.
Henry sold some land in Spartanburg County in 1798 to William Hendrix that had been granted to his father William Rives in 1774, at the time denoted as in Craven County.
Henry was mentioned in his brother Silas's estate record from Georgia in 1802 or 1803, so was apparently still alive at the time.
