Relqiues is in error in its statement that George and Elizabeth Ryves had a daughter named Arethusa Ryves, baptized at Iwerne Courtney in 1626 who married a Mr. Haysome. There were no Ryves baptized at Iwerne Courtney that year and no daughter Arethusa has been found in the register. However, Anne Haysome can be identified as a daughter based on her will, her husband's will and several of her siblings wills.
Her brother George's will mentions "my nephew Thomas Haysome and to mee neeces Anne Theodosia and Elizabeth Haysome." His widow Mary also mentions "my two loving nieces Mrs. Elizabeth Haysome and Mrs. Anne Haysome" and "their brother Thomas Haysome." Although the exact relationship isn't defined, her brother Charles Ryves mentions "my cousin Thomas Haytham" and "my two cozins Anne and Elizabeth Haytham" in his will. Her brother Richard mentions "my cousin Thomas Haysome of London Merchant."
Her own will, written 10 May 1671 and probated 13 Sep 1672, states that she had five children and made "my brothers George Rives Thomas Rives Richard Rives and Robert Haysome and my cosens Robert Haysome and Benjamin Sparing executors." She also mentions the will of her husband John Haysome and names her daughters Elizabeth and Anne and son Thomas.
Her husband's will was written 12 Dec 1667 and was probated 12 Jun 1668. In it he styles himself John Haysome the elder of Weymouth in the County of Dorset. He mentions his wife Anne, children Anne, Mary, Theodosia, Elizabeth, and Thomas, and "my brother George Ryves and my brother Thomas Ryves" in addition to others. George and Thomas Ryves were to serve as two of the "friends in trust to advise with my wife."
