Happy New Year
So here we are at the beginning of another new year, where does the time go?Our community, as measured by the number of registered accounts has grown by 45 over the past twelve months, although sadly last year saw the death of one of our founder members and significant contributors, Richard Reeves. During the past twelve months, we've added 521 new pages to The Reeves Project and many, many more pages have been updated as our knowledge of our Reeves folk increases.
As ever, my plea is for more members to take an active role in contributing to TRP and I think it worthwhile reiterating my thoughts from last April. Each of us has at least three UNIQUE things we can contribute to TRP
- The first is pretty trivial and easy to achieve - its your real name.
- The second is to create your AboutMe page, so we understand a little more about where your R*v*s interest lie in time and place and (optionally) if you're not too shy, a little about you as an individual.
- And thirdly, contribute a page for your most recent R*v*s ancestor (or your R*v*s grandparent/great grandparent to avoid living individuals). If a page for the individual already exists, you can still add as a "Research Note" a "for our eyes only" paragraph explaining your relationship to the individual.
