Wiki Stats - End May 2020

The total number of pages in the Wiki (as at 1 June 2020) now stands at 10041 (previously 9831, 9793, 9711) a magnificent increase of 210 pages during the month. Of the total, 1874 pages (was 1842, 1839, 1827) begin with a number and are most probably a date related gleaning.     We currently have 4292 wiki pages categorised as "People", of which 3836 begin with the letter "R".

TRP Users

We ended May 2020 with 429 user accounts registered in TRP, an increase of three. We had two users successfully activated their accounts during the past month. We welcome to our community Josh Welch and most recently Kenneth N Reeves. Josh and Ken have each created an AboutMe Page as described in First Steps - Part 2; thank you both. Ken has managed to wrap his brain round the way our wiki works and in addition to his AboutMe page he has already contributed to TRP a number of new People pages for some of his ancestors.

Whether you joined TRP recently or a while ago, if you have yet to do so, please set a meaningful name for yourself as described in First Steps - Part 1. It isn't difficult and only takes a couple of minutes to do.

10,000^th Wiki Page

On 25 May the 10,000^th page was added to our wiki. I'd normally be drawing everybody's attention to that milestone page, but it happens to be one of the more mundane pages which help make the running of our wiki a little easier and whilst not a huge secret, it's still very much a work in progress. We added our 9000^th page back on 10 July 2019, some 318 days previously.

As noted last month, whilst the number of members logging in to TRP hasn't dramatically changed, we have continued to see a marked increase in the number of visits to the content you've contributed.
