Wiki Stats - End October 2021

The total number of pages in the Wiki (as at 1 November 2021) now stands at 11339 (previously 11185, 11110, 11074), an increase of 154 pages during the month. Of the total, 2219 pages (was 2189, 2161, 2155) begin with a number and are most probably a date related gleaning.     We currently have 4967 wiki pages categorised as "People", of which 4455 begin with the letter "R".

The addition of 154 pages during October is particularly pleasing, since we had an unusually rocky start to the month. Whilst the wiki was running throughout the first two events, we realise that was little consolation to those unable to access TRP. For fuller details please see the updated news page for October.

TRP Users

We ended July October with 483 user accounts registered in TRP, an increase of five during the month.   We had three users successfully activated their account during the past month.
We welcome Sue C, Blaine and Julie to our community. We are also pleased to welcome back Roberta. Sue and Roberta share an interest in DNA Group 20 and Julie has a connection to our latest DNA Group 22. See below.

Whether you joined TRP recently or a while ago, if you have yet to do so, please set a meaningful name for yourself as described in First Steps - Part 1. It isn't difficult and only takes a couple of minutes to do. If it helps, think of it as a (small) name label badge; so your first name plus surname (or at least surname initial) would generally be a good choice. New DNA Group 22

On 09 October   Beverly announced to the activity feed over at the Reeves DNA Project the formation of our latest DNA Group 22. The results of a recent test for TRP member Kenneth N Reeves matched those of Sam Reeves, whose results had been sitting in the ungrouped pool for along time. TRP is grateful to both DNA Donors for giving us permission to name them.
