Transcript

In the name of God Amen I Charlotte Reeves of the Parish of Mountnessing in the County of Essex being of sound and well disposing mind declare this to be my last will and testament as follows. First I desire that my body may be decently intered at Mountnessing at the discretion of my Executor herein after mentioned, and I do Give to my natural son George Reaves of Colchester Butcher the sum of one Hundred Pounds, and I do Give my sister Mary Lord Ten pounds & all my wearing apparel and I give to my niece Charlotte Lord my bed & all my remaining property after paying the expences of my Funneral and all my debts & I do appoint Mr Thos Nicholas of Arnolds as my Executor the 16th day of February 1837

Thomas Nicholas the sole executor within named was sworn to the truth of this Will & the due performance thereof and that to the best of his knowledge information and belief the Goods Chattels and Credits of the deceased do not amount in value to the sum of Two hundred Pounds

The testatrix died in the parish within mentioned 30th May last }

Proved on the Nineteenth Day of June 1837 before the Reverend James Hutchinson Clerk Surrogate &c by the oath of Thomas Nicholas the sole Exor to whom Admon &c was granted he being first sworn duly to administer
