Charlotte Reeves of Mountnessing in Essex wrote her will on 16 Feb 1837 and it was probated 19 June 1837. She mentions her "natural son" George Reeves, butcher of Colchester, her sister Mary Lord, and niece Charlotte Lord. The Probate states she died on 30th May in Mountnessing.
She has a headstone in St. Giles Churchyard in Mountnessing which reads: "In/Memory Of/Charlotte Reeves/who died the 30th of May 1837/Aged 55 Years/..../Also of George Lord/Nephew of Charlotte/who died the 12th of March 1838/Aged ?6 Years."
