Kent Baptism record states that parents were Thomas and Ann. Ambrose was buried 25 Nov 1804 at Ashford St Mary. He left a will that was probated 14 May 1805 which mentions his wife Mary and names his three children. The children's baptisms are recorded with parents names Ambrose and Mary Reeve.
Mary West/Welch Reeve was buried 22 May 1774 according to Ashford Parish records. A note included concerning the monument inscription notes she was the wife of Ambrose, aged 35 years, and mother of Thomas, Lewis, and Elizabeth.
Mary Longley Reeve, aged 79, second wife of Ambrose, was buried 23 Jan 1805 according to Ashford records.
"Ambrose Reeve, of Ashford, in Kent" was named as a cousin in the will of Lewis Reeve of St. Helena, Charleston Co., South Carolina. His father Thomas may be the same Thomas Reeve who lived in St. Helena Parish as well.
