The Will of Lewis Reeve mentions a number of relatives including his sister Ann Carson and her son James Stuart, and his sister Sarah Gibbs. He also mentions his uncle Nathaniel Barnwell and several Barnwell cousins.
It also mentions another Ambrose Reeve of Kent, England who was his cousin. This Ambrose had a brother who lived in Dover in 1769 (unnamed). They were sons of a Thomas Reeve, apparently Lewis's uncle. Many of these Reeves are mentioned in deeds and were living in St. Helena Parish, Beaufort, Granville Co., SC.
The Parish Register says he was baptized 18 Nov 1739 and buried 14 Nov 1774.
