• 1879 Augt 10th. Bertie son of John & Sarah Anne Reeve (of) Blackmore, Farmer, (by) W. Claehudar? V.

His Social Security Application and Claims record lists parents as John Reeve and Sarah A. Manning. It states he was born 1 Jun 1880. This is obviously not correct as he was baptized a year earlier.

He and Edgar are listed on a passenger list arriving at Boston in the ship Laconia on 23 May 1912 from Liverpool.

Born in England, coming to America in 1904 and Madison in 1910. Served four years as county auditor and four years as county treasurer in Lake County. Survived by one brother, Edgar, Madison and two brothers and sister in Essex, England.
