In 1910 forward, he was living in Madison, South Dakota. In 1910, he was listed as a boarder in the house of John H. Williamson. Bert Reeve, age 30, was also with him. Immigration year is listed as 1894. Bert listed as 1902.

He and Bert are listed on a passenger list arriving at Boston in the ship Laconia on 23 May 1912 from Liverpool. It states that each of them have full papers at Mason City, IA. Edgar W. Reeve alone is listed on a list for the ship Umbria dated 11 Mar 1901 arriving at New York from Liverpool. It states his destination was Mason City, IA.

Edgar's WWII Draft Card states he was born 1 May 1880 in Blackmore, Essex, England. Note this is about five years off according to census records and headstone which state 1875. He was residing in Madison, South Dakota. Described as white, 5' 6" tall, blue eyes, gray hair, weight 145.

Headstone states he was born 1875 and died 1969.
