Payroll abstracts from the War of 1812 show that Eden was a Private under Capt. George Culver, company of Col. Gilbert Howell. He had payments from 11 July to 18 July during 1812.

Eden Reeves father of Cyrus and Cassius Reeves born Jan 24, 1775; died Dec 17, 1846; Phoebe Reeves, wife of Eden Reeves, died Jan 7th 1873. Cassius E. Reeves of Terre Haute, Indiana, married Jemiama A. Yeager of Terre Haute on 24 April 1873 at Terre Haute by James Hill Minister of the Gospel.
