The will of John Reeve, victualler, mentions property he owned "now in the occupation of Isaac Reeve and Joseph Sharp" in Willingale Doe.

Isaac is listed in Willingale Doe in 1841, age 88, next door to Joseph Sharp. Isaac is listed as gardener. A James Fields (65) along with his apparent wife Jane (60) and daughter Susan (20) are listed as Ag Labourers in the household as well.

  • Isaac ye son of Isaac & Mary Reeve baptized ye 13th May 1753
  • (1841) Isaac Reeve (of) Willingale Doe (buried) June 27th (age) 88 (by) J. Deede Rector

Research Notes

There is a marriage record for Isaac Reeve to a Mary "Bridge" from 1776. This similarity to the son William's middle name of Bragg would indicate one is probably a mistake in the record and William was named after her family name (Essex Archives, D/AEL 1776/42).
