In 1840, Silas is listed next door to Eden Reeve. Silas and Eden are listed as children of Silas Reeve of Lyon, Ontario County, New York in his will.
Silas appears to have died between 1840 and 1850. He is not listed on the 1850 census. Instead there is the household of Lucy Reeves (b. c1791, Pennsylvania). She was living in Honey Creek township which is where Silas was before. Following her migrations, she ended up in Douglas County, Illinois, where she is buried. The stone is difficult to read, but according a record of the cemetery data, the stone contains the following information: REEVES, Lucy, wife of Silas, d. Sept. 1, 1868 - 77y 10m 27d.
