Middletown First Congregational Church Records include the following two records in a list of members next to each other which shows that Temperance married an Isaiah Hulse:
- Temperance Reeve - wife of Elisha Reeve Deceased
- Temperance Reeve - Daughter of Ditto (wife of Isa Hulse)
In 1850, George (64) and Temperance Little (54) were living in Wallkill with Mary (40) and Elizabeth Little (32) in the household along with Mary (20), Hipsey (19), and Isaac S. Hulse (18). A Daniel Wilson (17) was with them also.
In 1852, George and Temperance Little were witnesses to the will of Mary Reeve, widow of her brother John Calvin Reeve.
In 1855, they were living in Wallkill. Her niece Sophronia Reeve (35) was living with them.
In 1865, she is listed as Temperance R. Little in Middletown, Orange County in the household of Isaiah S. Hulse. It states she was the mother of Isaiah.
A biography of Isaac H. Livingston contained in Portrait and biographical record of Rockland and Orange Counties, New York states that the following concerning his marriage to Temperance's daughter:
In 1855 Mr. Livingston married Miss Mary T., daughter of Isaiah and Temperance (Reeve) Hulse, natives of this county, where Mrs. Livingston was born. The maternal grandfather of Mrs. Livingston, Elisha Reeve, was a Sergeant in the Revolutionary War and died in 1837, at the advanced age of eighty-eight years.
