Headstone reads: "Here lieth the Body of Walter Reeve Jun who departed this Life the 20 of August 1746 Aged 27 Years 5 months"

The Reeves Family states "That he had three sons living at the date of his fathers will is apparent from that instrument. One of these was the Walter Reeves who married Tabitha Garwood under license dated Feb. 9, 1765, and died 1768. Another son probably was the John Reeves called cousin in the will of Rebecca Reeve."

Two of the sons of Walter are identified in loose New Jersey land records. In an undated account concerning two hundred acres of land, part of a larger 2000 acres, it states "Walter Reeves by Will dated 28th May 1753 Devised 133 1/3 to Grandsons Jno & Absolam Reeves who convd to same to Thoms Reynold by deed dated 8th Aug 1768."
