In Jonah Reeve's will, "Wm Reeve son Jonah of Chelmsford" was given twenty pounds and "William Reeve of Chelmsford" was named one of the executors of his will. This was later changed in a codicil.
The following concerns his son Jonah and indicates William was deceased by 18 Nov 1818:

This is to certify whom it doth or may concern that Jonah Reevesson of William Reeveslate of Chelmsford in the County of Essex shopkeeper deceased, who by Indenture dated the 2nd day of October 1811 was bound apprentice to Samuel Legg citizen and upholder for 7 years was this 18th day of November 1818 admitted into the Freedom of the Worshipful Company of upholders London, and sworn to obey, and perform all the orders made and to be made for the Weale of the same

Research Notes
This is probably the Richard William Reeve of Chelmsford who write his will in 1806. He states that he was "commonly called William Reeve." His wife's name was Mary and his occupation was baker which is consistent with William's known occupations of grocer and shopkeeper.Sources
