Narrative
The will of William Reeve of Maldon is dated 13 Sep 1729 and was probated 22 Oct 1731. In it he mentions the following individuals:- my loveing wife Mary Reeve
- my Grandaughter Sarah the wife of William Belcham of South Church
- my kinswoman Martha the wife of Jeremiah Gentry of Maldon
- Mr. Joseph Billio of Maldon
His will also mentions "Fryons and Iarkletts? or otherwise in Purley Purleigh."
His widow Mary appears to be the Mary Reeve of Purleigh who wrote her will 4 Feb 1726/7. She mentions her husband William Reeve, daughter Ann, and friend Mary Billio. Joseph Billio signed the will as witness. The probate indicates Mary was of Maldon when she died and the will was probated. All these facts indicate this must be the widow of this William Reeve.
